OT: Fallout 3

Well, I took advantage of Circuit City's demise and picked up Fallout 3 for 30% off. I'm already addicted, this is the first RPG I've ever played. I especially like the 40's era music...it makes the whole environment alot eerier. I can't believe I hadn't gotten this earlier! (BTW, my personality type in-game is "evil-opportunist" LOL)

I played it for 3 weeks straight. You really gotta get out and explore. I've never seen a game with such a short story that has so much going on. I loved it.

I played it for about an hour. Uninstalled it. Installed it again the next day tried it again for about an 1 1/2 then uninstalled it again. Next I gave it away. It was not very fun for me. It is way to SLOW moving of a game for me.

I just started an alternate save, this time I'm gonna try to be a good guy. One note, I think that some sort of usable vehicle or ridable animal would make exploring a little less tedious.

Okay someone tell this old guy what RPG stands for????:help:
Role Playing Game

I rented it from Gamefly for the 360 and found it just wasn't for me either. I don't really have the time to spend searching for hours. Actually the game lost me at the whole birth sequence and then having to do the whole birthday party thing was a bit to much!

Once I got out into the world the graphics were really good, kind of reminded of Bioshock, but I just couldn't spend the time I wanted to with it so I sent it back.

RPG = role-playing game. You assume a character's identity and move through whatever virtual world the game provides. For example, Mithrin's Undertaker character in his first post. :)
