• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

OT..my san diego trip

As some of you know, I went down San Diego way to visit an old friend of mine. While there, in the high desert town of Jacumba, I met a guy, John Franklin Murphy whose da was Mike Finn, the survivor of the Pearl Harbor Attack that was wounded 17 times and kept on shootin....John Frankiln Murphy is a great guy, served in Nam three tours and it was my distinct honor and pleasure to meet him. After I edit it, I'm gonna post a short film I made of him.
And, Thanks, Mask Rider for the travel tips...what a gorgeous area, East of San Diego......I love the geography. mid
 
Yeh, he's a hard core guy but a real good guy....one of those kinda guys that can probably do anything. If I was a commie in a jungle and saw this guy comin at me, considering what he must've been like forty years ago or so, I think i would have to change my drawers!!!
