what can I do with an un-verified account? I would like to buy Lionhearts Epic LT using Paypal, but I cannot verify my account for another two months (I only get bank statements every three months). What is the spending cap for an unverified account, and can I use my bank-account through Paypal without verification?
 
as long as you have your card details entered in your profile bit correctly i think you can use it, i think verifying is only really needed if you want to transfere money from paypal to your bank account, at least i think thats how it works :isadizzy:
 
can you get a debit card?? thats what i use, they come with the accounts over ere, not sure if they do over there or not? :isadizzy:

You can request their ATM card. Its a Mastercard and you can transfer money into your account from your bank, and Voila, instant card. But with PayPal online purchases, you dont need a card as PayPal will run the payment for you.

Also, Walmart can place funds into your PayPal account instantly. Just get a varification number from PayPal to give to wallyworld, and they will place the money into the account directly.

There are also E-checks. Those take like 3 days though.


I remember years ago, I had no credit cards.. When I finally had one, the first thing I did was buy some payware planes for my sim, lol... The Cessna 421 Golden Eagle was one of them.

lol what a coincedence. I've had my PayPal account for years, but I only just tried to verify it today. Some people will only sell their stuff on ebay to people who have "verified" PayPay accounts. Now I have to wait a month until my next bank statement to verify becasue I don't have the online banking. :banghead:

You must have been writing yours as I was writing mine. That is true. You can do that. My brother does that often. He can 'load' it with so much money and its good to go.

I've been using the Visa Giftcards for months now... ran my nearest supplier clean out of them, actually - so I know about them...
How do I add money to the Paypal account so I don't need to verify?
 
I use a Visa pre-paid card from Wal-Mart for all my internet purchases and PayPal works beautifully without account verification since I only use it to purchase stuff.

I also use the Visa when we go on a cruise since the cruise lines insist on 'blocking' out up to $60 per day for onboard purchases and they aren't always prompt at releasing the hold after the cruise.

........i used to load money from my bank acc to my pp acc
until one day i didnt have enuf bucks so paypal used an echeck to extract the right amount from my bank acc and since then all my internet paypal buys i have been using echeck
........had no probs yet for 2yrs(ive never been verified)
........i dont use credit cards....ever!!!!!

Goto your bank and ask for the code attached to the 2cent deposit made by paypal.If your miles away then ring them they will give you the info over the phone.To add money to your paypal account log in and then click on add funds,check that the bank account you have added as your primary account is selected,type in the amount,wait a few days and all being well you will get an email telling you fund transfer has been completed.
A credit card or debit card will help with the instant transfer of money
If you only have a bank account attached to the paypal account,They will send an echeque until the moneys transfered from you bank account(a lot of vendors hate echeques as it can take upto a week or more to clear).If you have a credit card as well,the money is instantly transfered to the vendor and paypal then transfer from your bank account,if this is refused they use the credit card to fund the transfer,If that fails they send you a nice little email asking for you to fix the issue asap :)

My paypal account has been working fine for years, never "verified". I think this applies to business accounts only, not personal ones. The few times I've run across the Ebay sellers who put the notice about "unverified" accounts in, I've emailed them thru Ebay, and everytime I was able to bid/purchase. It seems most of those who use that line do it to stop the autobot bidders.
