Cameljockey, you're Dr.1 is ready! After sitting in the back of the Hanger for so long, I finally got it rolled out, sanded and painted.

Thanks to Terry (Dr.1 base skin), Rabu (for the chrome cowling) and some lucky sap on the internet for donating the flames. Please, this is for On-line and personal use, it's not for sale. The original OFF skins and parts were down-graded heavily in quality for obvious reasons, but for what you are using it for, it will do the job nicely. So this is not an original OFF product quality skin. This is a fan-appreciation gift for being so dedicated and understanding while we took FOREVER to make phase 3.

I don't know, something about flames streaming along the side of my plane.......kind of goes against the grain...:costumes:
 
Once we release P3, I'll get these two custom skins to their rightful owners. :)

I can't do it until then. Just for moral's sake... plus they look real nice over the P3 scenery... as you can see. ;)

It's the ultimate camouflage. The enemy sees the flames and thinks "he's already in flames, he can't hurt anyone" and pay me no attention.......Until it's too late! BUWAAAHAAHAHAAHAHAHA!

Awesome Flames on the DrI paint job OVS, reminds me of the Orange county Choppers tribute bike to David Mann - Brilliant!! :applause:

- please forgive my ignorance, but is there a tutorial around somewhere that shows how to make paintscheme changes & such things?

I would like to try give it a go myself (as soon as I have the spare time - im working over christmas & new years)
 
'Gousgounis' put out a basic tutorial for CFS/OFF skins last year. It was this that got me started in skinning and a year later I'm a member of the OFF team. So if I can do it, you can.

I couldn't find the thread in 'search' but if you put out a call to 'Gousgounis', I'm sure he will make it available again.

Here what is happening with me ....

Thanks OvS ... awesome skin! No big rush, waiting for P3 anyway.

Hey Everyone, I am dealing with an ice storm that hit us hard last Thursday. Looks like trees exploded all over New England, along with power lines down everywhere. As of today, there are still 191,000 people without power and I am one of them.

My power has been out since Thursday evening and it looks like possibly this Friday before I have power at home again, maybe??? I am at work now .... but just for the coffee! LOL.

So guy's, just to let you know, there is no way I am stepping out of the hanger and flying without doing my hair! .... so, if I seem distance around here this is why.

But, as long as I have coffee .... life is good!

Hi WF2! Mrs CJ here! You sound like my kind of person. CJ keeps telling me he's going to get rid of my coffee cup and put a coffee IV in my arm one of these days. I LOVE my coffee. No problem sweetie, it was my pleaseure considering I promised it to you 2 years ago. ;)

I heard about the ice up there. We got swamped with rain, like TONS of it. I've never seen that much rain in Long Island in a very long time. Anyone's basement that never leaked, was leaking for sure last week. There was no place for the run-off to go. The drains were full, streets were flooded, nuts!
