Darwin International airport is located in Australia's top end and as well as being an international and domestic airport it is also a RAAF military base and general aviation centre. With an 11000' main runway Darwin can handle some serious aircraft. This scenery contains 99% custom objects based on real world photographs of the airport where available (it is a military base remember). It also contains photoreal ground textures for the airport area. These textures have been designed to blend with the payware FTX Green textures for Australia. You should still be able to use this airport if you do not have these textures although results will vary from those shown in the screenshots. They are high quality, FSX-SDK made little gems in the FSX world. IMHO, the Australia has the best sceneries around. And most of them are free. Now this is something really fantastic!

Tindal is a major front-line operational air base and home to No. 75 Squadron Air Combat Group (F/A-18). There is also a civilian apron in the north west corner of the airfield. This scenery contains photoreal ground textures and these are designed to blend in with the payware FTX textures (available from www.fullterrain.com). It is therefore recommended that you have the FTX textures installed if you wish to see this airfield at its best. I have tried to make this airfield as accurate as possible although as Tindal is a military base there aren't a lot of photos available so a lot of the hangars are "educated guesses". Almost all of the models have been custom made with the use of library objects kept to the minimum. [/FONT]

They are indeed mate! I just loaded RAAF Tindal this morning and it looks great with AU Green. :applause: Now what we need are some nice Aussie military AI packages. MAIW has RAAF C-130's, but no F/A-18's. I was wondering if JF's Traffic X has Australian military AI included. I hate to see empty airports... :wiggle:
