P-38 request

I wish we had a P-38F-5 to do White 33, it's a great restoration. I've always preferred the looks of the early Lightnings. So far, of the Flying Iron P-38L repaints I've done, I've stuck to bare-metal schemes found on P-38Ls.

We can cross our fingers and hope Flying Iron might give us a dash F. I'll pay up front! :very_drunk:

Agree! Love the look of the "pre J" Lightnings. But if I had to go to war I'd want an L... :)

This model is still beautiful but I still can't get past the engine sounds. Closest thing I have heard so far was the last iteration by Milviz (now Blackbird). They nailed the exterior and cockpit sounds very well. I get the Wwise system is a big step up but apparently way more complicated to build sounds for and we have no simple drop-in option like previous sims. Still hoping this model will get sounds it deserves at some point.
