I've always liked the P-40, it just looks right. Pugnacious and beautiful all at the same time. Imagine my surprise and delight when I happened across the following goldmine of photos and reference material

Mind you, the photos a few pages in where they've had their engines removed and have been stood nose-down in the dirt is a bit sad.
