This is a repaint only for the Curtiss Hawk 81 - SP1 by Bruce Thorson. This P-40B, 41-13297, was based at Oahu, Hawaii & survived the Pearl Harbor attack on December 7, 1941, though was later lost on a routine patrol in January of 1942. The Curtis Wright Historical Association/Project Tomahawk recovered the aircraft along with the remains of 39-285 and 39-287 in 1989, with the focus on restoring 41-13287 to airworthy condition.
