Description: This a retrofit kit for my P-47D Thunderbolt "Razorback". It converts my P-47d to a P-47 used by the 65th Fighter Wing Detachment B at RAF Boxted early 1944.

The Air Sea Rescue P-47s would loiter over the channel listening for any distress calls. When a call for help came, one P-47 would keep circling over the spot where the aircraft went down.
