P-51 flight improvement

boy

Please direct me to something that improves the flight of the stock P-51. I really dislike the stalling, etc. Thank you.

Dont know what you have over there Mr. Lewis, but I really like the F6 Mustang version. That was one
of the few that got me all the way through my "London Blitz" mission without any damage.

Also the "Tuskeegee" and 369th FS versions are great.

lewis version rocks , but guess what ...yes ....i know , you dare ask ,,,well

i did it again "

yes loverboy1 has broken the golden arc rule ....forgot to back up that plane ....now im better got all elese ...

Try flying with the fuel at half load --
it simulates the transfer tank behind the pilot being empty --
makes a huge difference.

I've had those settings for a year, thanks. Lewis's flight model is very much an improvement over the stock P-51. The sim is that much more enjoyable. Thanks again for your help.

The p-51 was well known for being very unsable with the rear fuel tank full..The pilots knew to empty that tank First, in real life flying i have spoke to several pilots the have replaced the rear tank with a second seat, but there is a 250lb weight limit on the passanger..Too much weight there throws the plane out of balance..And makes it a BEAR to fly..
