This folder contains a repaint for the A2A/Shockwave World War II Fighters P-51D Mustang, representing 44-14888, the last P-51 flown by Capt Charles E. Yeager. He flew an extended combat tour with the 363rd FS/ 357th FG, finishing the war with 11.5 enemy aircraft shot down. He had gained one victory before he was shot down over France on his eighth mission, on March 5, 1944.[4] He escaped to Spain on March 30 with the help of the Maquis (French Resistance) and returned to England on May 15...
