P-51D-20 44-72550 #602 was assigned to Lts. Balhorn and Treacy. "Meatball", like most 462nd FS Mustangs, displays the squadron insignia, designed by pilot Bob Torgerson. Repaint of the Shockwave WWII Mustang by Jan Kees Blom, based on paintkit by John Terrell.
