This is a repaint only for the WWII Fighters P-51D. This aircraft, 44-73420, entered the USAAF in 1945 and served with the 190th FS, Boise, Idaho, and with several ANG units. In 1958 it was sold surplus and was registered N7722C. After passing through several owners the aircraft was painted as "Miss Torque" in 1984 and was eventually shipped to New Zealand in 1993 where it operated as ZK-PLI until 2005 when it was sold back to the US.
