This is a repaint only for the WOP P-51D and WWIIFighters P-51D. This aircraft, more recently purchased by Bill Wieman, beganwhat would be a benchmark restoration program in 1996 after Ken Wagnonpurchased what was a flyable but not very desireable Mustang. Wagnon's intentwas to restore the aircraft to be a virtual clone of the original "CripesA' Mighty", originaly flown by 352nd Fighter Group ace George Preddy justbefore losing his life in the Battle of the Buldge.
