This is a photoreal repaint for Warwick Carter's P-51D Mustang Ver. 2. "Ridge Runner III" N151DM, owned by Dan Martin, first served with the 9th AF, 354th FG, 356th Fighter Squadron coded AJ R, during WWII. Then, after serving with Sweden, Nicaragua, and El Salvador, the aircraft was purchased by Dan, begining restoration in 1974, and being flown regulary ever since. Dan has also raced the aircraft at Reno numerous times, shortly reaching speeds in the 470's, unheard of for a stock airframe...
