P-61 Update 11/26/12

There was not a lot of work done last week due to the Holiday. I've been at it a bit the last couple of days...all of the parts on the ADF control box are textured and awaiting coding, and I have reworked the texture mapping for the main switch box such that I can start to give it a bit of a used look.

Sweet work all around, Robert! I love to watch as the cockpit begins to be filled in more and more, and starts to really become 'busy'.

I would love to know how the coding goes on the DF/ADF control box! I've got a similar unit (but slightly smaller - the Bendix MN-26) that I've been working away at as well, which similarily has three bands and a single tuning control. I've got all of this coded, but for some reason in FSX the limits I've put on the band/tuner in the code isn't working in the sim - for instance, despite the range I have a particular band limited to, such as 695-1500 KHz, in the sim it keeps running over those values a bit before stopping. It's been driving me insane... : )

Thanks for the comments. When I manage to get it working I will let you know and share what I learned in the process. :salute:

I'm really enjoying these previews as I'm currently reading the Osprey book on the P-61 Black Widow Units of WW2.
She's definitely looking good, considering how much of the work you're doing now is tedious. Thanks for plugging away at it.

A bit of an update...The prop control box has been reworked, and I am in the process of replacing the original screw head textures to make them stand out more. The panel shot has some old screws still in it so you can see the difference.
