A skin for Milton Shupe's P-70 Nighthawk. This P-70A-1 was converted at the U.S. Army depot in Brisbane, Australia. The camouflage scheme is authentic, but the unit assignment is speculative. If it was sent to a combat unit that would have been the 6th NFS, the only Army night fighter unit in the Pacific at the time, with detachments on Guadalcanal and New Guinea. It wears the camouflage scheme unique to Brisbane-built P-70A-1's, with only the cowlings and the neutral gray under-surfaces...
