Hello,

I would like to know what aircraft are used in the P3 version?
How many fighters, how many bombers and what types?

Suggest you look at the list on the website

Problem #1) Management reserves the right to alter, or completely disregard Lists . . . ( no they never said that, but they should)

The only sure thing, is there will be NO Zepplin in Phase 3, and it's better than even money, the multi- engine bombers will be at a later Date :kilroy:
 
I'd love to see the N.24 at some point, but given the very high quality of the aircraft that have been produced, there's no reason to complain.

you know what ? I did no treally look for the features posted obver at the OFF-site until i read this post. :kilroy:

And now i'm dumbstruck. What ? Only a few of those features:

Halberstadt DII - NEW For P3!

Aahhhh, yesss ... they did it .... :jump:

AI cruising now set to realistic WW1 speeds.

Long range sniping is greatly reduced.

5) NEW For P3!: Gun Jams built in.

6) NEW For P3!: Destroyed or Dead planes don't shoot.

7) NEW For P3!: AI only shoots when they mean it - no shooting for 'sound effects'

8) NEW For P3!: Outcomes data ensures that the Wrapper knows exactly where the player landed and resolves captivity criteria.

Now all this but #8 where the only drawbacks of phase 2 i did not like due to the original CFS3 behaviour ... and this has been corrected ???!! I thought it would not be possible dur to the code ?!
This makes the waiting even worse !! :applause::applause:

P.S. I would propose the OFF team puts pictures of the planes, and land units like tanks etc. on their website - introducing the types with a nice screenshot and a short description, would be impressing for the folks who did not see this before :ernae:
 
Hello all - posting here for the first time -but I am a long time simmer (F4, RB3D, IL-2).

No doubt P3 will be amazing and the devs did manage to fix a bunch of junk that made CFS3 unplayable for me. They have built what should be a worthy successor to RB3D.

I just cannot wait to get my copy.
 
If you don't already have one, you can still obtain a copy of Phase 2 for free. It ain't Phase 3 "Between Heaven and Hell" but it's a great sim in it's own right. It'll whet your appetite for the main course! Just go to the DVD request sticky above and ask for one. I'm sure someone will oblige, or you could PM me your address and I'll send you one. I'm just north of you.

Grab the relevant screen saver from the OFF site (downloads link). They have all of the aircraft types flown in Phase 3 :applause:

My list of dead pilots from both sides grows at an alarming rate......guess I better get used to it, not sure my ol' Dell will be able to handle OFF3. (AMD Dual 5400 (2.8Mhz), 4gb RAM, 8600GT).
 
Should handle it quite nicely. My puter is considerably older, and I still get frame rates ~50fps most of the time.

Cheer-up, some of them probably have excellent glide capabilities

Which ain't a bad idea . . Practicing Dead Stick Landings . . you never know when you might need one

I've already got several of them type under my belt. Those are no big deal for me, surprizingly!:isadizzy:

I'm doing fine with OFF2 and even FSX is pretty good just a tad down from maxed out. I read that OFF3 seems to want a 3.0Mhz, I've got the dual 2.8's but not sure OFF uses the second core like FSX does.
