P3 came in the mail today (whohoo!), and I'm setting it up:
1. In the workshop, there is an aircraft skin detail section. The highest one says that there is no visual damage. Does this mean that if I choose the hi-res skins, I won't see bullet holes, missing wings, etc.?
2. I can't seem to access my display settings in-game, to adjust the terrain detail and such. Is this intentional? If so, where are the sliders in the P3 workshop for items such as terrain detail, etc?
3. A general cfs3 question: how do I get the view pan rate with the hatswitch to increase. I don't have trackIR yet, and I want to be able to move my head more quickly.
4. Aircraft trim: the only plane I've tried to fly is the Bristol Scout, and that thing is a beast! Constant nose down pressure, extreme torque to the left. That's probably right, but I'm wondering how the riggers dealt with that in mid-flight? Would it be realistic to use the cfs3 trim system to get something that's stable at a certain speed and engine power, and leave it at that, to simulate a pre-flight trim setting? Would ww1 ground riggers be able to find a stable flight setting? Hope this makes sense.
