I've had a spate of Win10 updates over the last couple of weeks.
Last week I did a major overhaul...moving Prepar3D v3 to the spinning drive and updating P3D v4 last night.
When I tried to activate v3 a few days ago I got error 9105. I installed a freshly downloaded v4 this AM on the SSD. Got the same error.
Error: The server could not be reached. Verify that the computer is connected to the internet and that the firewall/proxy is set-up properly. (9105)
I've spent about three days going through my ESET proxy settings, going as far as entirely shutting down ESET and Windows firewalls and internet security. I'm still getting the error message.
At this point, I can't activate either v3 or v4.
Yep...all passwords and IDs are current and accurate.
Related:
Trying to access Prepar3D Store was also blocked for the last few weeks. Usiong Microsoft Edge and/or Explorer. I was only able to access P3D Store via Tor browser.
I pretty much burned up my allotment of patience trying to wade through the myriad of possible settings trying to sort this one out.
Any ideas from one of our gurus????
Much appreciated in advance.
