P3D V3.2.3 crashing

I have been running without issues until now. Everytime I start a flight the application crashes, even the default content. I have tried deleting the prepar3d.cfg and all the usual fixes, but no luck. The event viewer show the following:

Any help appreciated.
 
Did you uninstall the v3.1 client/content/scenery first? This is required for.the v3.2x install to work correctly. You cant just install over the previous one. Hopefully thats the issue.

It seems it was a corrupted dll.xml file, just tried used an old backup version and problem is now sorted. Phew...
 
Just for the record: when P3D crashes, the first step is to check if the problem is attached to the context of the user profile, or if it is a global issue. This can easily be done by logging in with another user and start P3D. If it runs OK, it is most likely a corrupted file within the realm of the problem user. If it keeps faulting, it is most likely an addon that is causing the problem, or a driver (GFX or controller, etc).

I wish that LM would make P3D a bit more robust. A faulty line in the dll.xml or other config file should not cause an app crash in my opinion. A controlled shutdown would be acceptable, with throwing a precise error (e.g. error abc in line xyz in DLL.XML).
