Hi all,
Today I made a short flight arround Darrington with the famous freeware Alouette III, and I made a terrible approach to the small helipad next to the hospital in the city.
I wanted to look at that approach in instant replay, because I haven't reinstalled FSRecorder yet (and to make it work with helos is a mess).
Just before launching the instant replay, I switched to avatar mode, moved next to the helipad, and then I triggered the replay.
To my great surprise, the camera stayed in avatar mode. I couldn't move on the ground anymore, but I could still orientate the camera. So I could look at my helicopter approaching, as if I were a spotter !
That's quite nice. Not always easy to use (it will be hard to do that after landing a plane, for sure), but it's fun to know it's possible.
