Still no official news, but few weeks agou I saw post from LM that it will be in next "few weeks" so perhaps in June.

See this:

"Starting with the PMDG 737NGXu update, Robert said that adding compatibility with Prepar3D v5 was slowing the update down in general. The team are determined to make sure that the update includes that functionality. However, Lockheed Martin are currently beta testing hotfix 2 for Prepar3D v5 which has an impact on lighting. This has taken the team a significant amount of work to adjust dynamic lighting. Hotfix 2 has changed this significantly since the first hotfix so PMDG are awaiting on a final release of Hotfix 2 so they know what changes have been made. During this time, they continue to work on bugs and other updates which will be included when this update is finally released."

Hmm... again lighting? I will have impact for models, skins and sceneries again I think.
Maybe too dark cockpit will be solved but Im interested in the rest also.
 
P3DV5, to date, has been thoroughly disappointing. In testing the DC-3/C-47 Upgrade package and two new developments, we are finding they look so much better in 4.5. The work required by people to achieve something close to 4.5 in appearance and lighting is way too much. The work required by developers to "upgrade" to V5 is also far too much. It has taken way longer than expected to balance our packages to avoid having to issue two packages for P3D for every product. So much so that it is difficult to see releasing V5 versions for future products unless the sim is fixed and stable.

If LM now bring out a HotFix that changes dynamic lighting, it could be that devs have to go back to the drawing board again to produce upgrades. With these upgrades taking more and more time and resource to produce, keeping them free of charge is also going to be a challenge.:engel016:
 
Yes, too many changes in short time. It looks like a mess still. The case is that LM relesed v5 but its beta still. Now They fix it but it costs a lot of work again and again. :dejection:
Maybe wait with DC-3 update for v5 for HT2? I think it will in the next 1-2 weeks.
