Wings of POWER P51D (Solo / WWII Fighters) FSX Update
We are just finishing up our FSX Fix for our original Wings of POWER P51 mustang,. This P51 was our very first Wings of POWER plane which was made for Flight Simulator 2004, and it just looks great in today’s Microsoft FSX colors. I have just been flying this around for hours and decided to make a little promo video before we release the patch.

This aircraft just flies so well and sounds authentic as we flew and recorded a Merlin powered P51 Mustang during development. There is also no denying that this P51 is one of the most beautiful aircraft ever created. Looking at it from below, the wings just remind me of a bird of prey.

Also, do not confuse it with the very high end Wings of POWER 3: P51 Mustang currently in development. We will keep our community up-to-date, as we continue to develop the new Mustang and its Accu-Sim technology. In the meantime, for those who are flying this aircraft today, enjoy this update. It’s just a wonderful aircraft to experience

Sweet! This always had one of my all time favorite flight models, which feels truly beautiful. Can't wait to fly her again! But... is that the model built from the ground up that was promised here?

we will be releasing a free update for existing Wings of POWER II: P51D Mustang owners which will not just give them a native FSX model, but an external model built from the ground up.

This update is not the newest "from scratch" model

They are working on their WOP 3 model separately I believe

Excellent news Lewis, this will give me the chance to fly 'my own' plane in FSX ;)

I double that request...they (A2A) said it was old stuff and was not, but its a favorite in fs9 for me still and it would complete a set of plane that are hard to match :applause::ernae:

Yes, the Zero is my favourite airplane of the WoP2 series. A FSX version would be really great :jump:

I know the Zero isn't FSX native but coincidentally (to the last few posts) I took up the Zero in FSX last week when I was in one of those 'just pick any airplane' moods. It's still a great looking aircraft, even with all the whiz-bang stuff that's coming out for FSX. For me, the modelling is still very good and I just love the sound.
 
The A2A WOPII P-51D is my all-time favourite. Bomber_12th's paint kit is astounding and the FS9 version works very well with 2048x2048 textures in DX9 within the usual limits of a prop port-over. I just can't wait for this update; thank you so much Lewis and A2A
