PAD DHC8 reverser question

aeromed202

SOH-CM-2014
I'm not getting anywhere with this so I'm looking for some help. PADs wonderful Bombardier DHC8-Q400 (dhc8-q400_9.zip) has no reverser capability and I assume the real one does, it is listed in the check list after touchdown. Is there a fix or tweak I haven't found to correct this? I've checked reverse thrust=1 in the air and cfg files and entered a suitable value for minimum_reverse_beta. Any help would be appreciated.

I have this aircraft in FSX and the reverse thrust works fine for me. The throttles in the virtual cockpit are not clickable, but through the 2D popup throttle window and with a button mapped to thrust reverse I can activate the reverse thrust.

If the line "lower_throttle_limit=" contains a negative value, the aircraft has reversers.

If you mean min_throttle_limit, yes it has a value. But on further looking it looks like all AC have lost reverse ability although the sound seems to be working. Where would I check if the F2 key is NG? Is it a module item or the main cfg?

Well to answer my own question, I discovered that the F2 button was not assigned. Checking the key assignments actually showed two unassigned "throttle decrease" lines so I assigned F2 to one of them and reverse is again working. I have no idea when or why these assignments were changed. I might next try setting all back to defaults and go from there.
