Wow, I knew Bob said it would be soon, but this is seriously quick!! And Shockwave mods as well, you've wasted no time either!!

Thanks for the heads up, and the mods. :salute:

Well I think we all cheated -- just a bit. Except for the body, the plane is pretty much a carbon copy of the "D" model so cut 'n paste was the name of the game.

Both Cargo and Pax versions.

BTW, it contains the infamous PAD effect for the beacon that has been a bit of a bother with the Beech C99 (fx_PADbeaconh.fx) :applause:

The PADbeaconh.fx file may be infamous to you but it's famous to us :icon_lol:

It's the only beacon effect guaranteed not to flash inside the cabin as well as outside. If the files are installed as per the read_me this effect will be seamlessly installed in the main effects folder and the user has to do nothing.

And you're right about the cut 'n paste job. It's a valid way of getting a quick C model if you already have a D model since, except for the fuselage and winglets, the C and D are almost identical.

Enjoy.

Well, it looks like another gem to me Bob, I shall be downloading this when I get home - and if nobody else attempts a C-12J repaint guess I'll have to be adding another one to the list!!

Any clues as to what we can expect next?

Hi I got this installed and not all the gauges are showing on either panel. Mainly the flight and engine gauges not showing. All looks right in the panel folder. This is in fsx but the thread is missing over there. Looking in the panel cfg it looks like they have to do with that king9.gau

I have had promises from a good painter of our acquaintance that there are military liveries on the drawing board for the B1900C

Next ? We're currently working on the CASA 295. For those who don't know it this is a european C-130J with half as many engines and a slimmer waistline. It won't be a quickie.

Bob.

Damn ! We thought we had nailed that. The problem was also on the D model and is only seen by FSX users with certain graphics cards. We can't replicate the problem at our end so it's almost impossible for us to know if it's fixed.
Can you send me an email to support(at)premaircraft.com and if we come up with something I'll ask you to test it.

Ooh yes, I know what that is!! :jump: I shall try to wait patiently, but I reserve the right to bug you every 5 minutes!! Any chance the MPA variant will be included?

I did this and within the hour got a reply and this morning a new panel folder that cured my problem.
great support from a great team!!:salute: Thanks so much.:applause:

Bob

I took the Alpine Air freighter out last night and ran it from Fulton County (Brown Field) to Chattanooga in real time weather......marvellous piece of work mate - flies like a jewel for me, just like the Ocean Airways one I used to play with many many years ago....

Leif

(Can see people trying to figure out WHICH Ocean Airways now)

Is it "soon" yet? Previews of the 295 are looking nice Bob, very happy to see that MPA in there. :jump:

Yes, it's soon Andy.

As usual, getting all the little details right takes as long to do as the main node pulling, panel designing and texturing.

Conservatively I'd say that 2 weeks ought to do it.

Bob.
