Paintbrushes ready? BUFFALO has a new bird

A turbo commander should make for a nice hauler of both crates and self loading cargo on the medium runs. Aside from being one of the noisiest twins I know, there is not much you can't do with one of these. Short of landing on water :)

They can land on water.... Once :p

As for birddogs, they have C90s for that... Size of this, I'd say medium runs with a cheaper fuel... Better short distance profit.

One of my very favorite aircraft. Intrigued as to the mission old Joe has in mind for this one. Their Beech twin Travel Airs are a bit long in the tooth so maybe it will be used to rush spares/mechanics to the stranded C-46's, C-54's and Electra's they seem to have break down in the middle of nowhere (where its getting dark and 40 below) almost every episode! (I am not for a minute suggesting any of their on screen adventures might be staged, of course. . ).

Since you can't immediately use the aircraft again without repairs that does not qualify as a landing by the standard pilots definition.
And since you would definitely know just when the aircraft stopped flying it does not qualify for the definition of a perfect landing either ;)

Cheers

Any landing you can swim away from is a good one...

Any landing where you can tie up to the dock after is a great one ;)
