You should delete all previous versions, and go with these, otherwise you will have problems

This project has gone far beyond Tango's original remit - which was to make a poly-lite, FR friendly alternative to the "shocker-stocker" that MS gave us - he suceeded admirably, but due to repeated requests for more this, and can we have that, he repeatedly revised, improved, and added to the basic concept, until we got the fine models (much more complicated, and involving a lot of work) that we have today - and in double quick time!

And he did all this with his customary gentlemanly good humour

I am pleased to have been able to play some small part in this endeavour of Tango's

For some reason, this process seemed to annoy some folks - I don't know why

A word to the lurkers:
Its Free- go on take it - its a gift - but a word of thanks, or appreciation would not go amiss - and it would cost you nothing

A word to the critics:
You have a contribution to make - nobody wants to put anything out that is less good than it could be - but please - make your comments privately - use the pm system - we all already know how clever you are

A word to the Moderators:
It seems that Tango was left to slug this out on his own most of the time - Moderate - ors - need I say more

Well that's it from me - I don't feel I want to post my stuff here any more - you'll all be more than welcome down at the Paintshop

We really are spoiled for choice by the work that people do on this site, for no other reason than that they can, and they enjoy it (I hope). Minor corrections promptly attended to, to produce the best models available, and people complain?

How churlish!

Keep up the good work people, you are much appreciated by the (less talented) majority.

Sopwith has summed it all up. Thanks TR and SC for giving so generously of your time and talent.

I was interested in Tango,s beautiful work as I recognized the textures as being from Airbudda's work as well. I have the old "ruptured duck" and was interested in fixing a prob with the bomb release when my machine keeled-over. When I got my puter up, Tango was showing his skins. I always admired the pilots of the day and the ships they flew, but I ended up as a ground-pounder. I was unable to fly so books and pictures had to suffice. Later I meet a Tuskegee Airman, Boyingtons' grandson and one of Chennault's early warning people and then puters came. If I had'nt won the money I would have missed out on CFS2, my wife has given me greif for it since but I love P40b's and b25bs too much to give it up. I can bring my computer back to life but I cant' write a program to save my life, and though I love to create I am unable to spend time with a new program right now. I suppose I am a "lurker" as I contribute nothing to the community. I'm currently laid-off-again-since 07/08 and though I was posting for a while before, I dont' think it was that well recieved. I have studdied history and have enjoyed studying martial history in particular and I have a knack for spotting trains, planes, cars and such. I didnt' mean to write so much about myself and I resist deleting this even now to revert to my typical anonimity but since I find myself as an obvious parisite I thought to identify myself, say Thank you to Tango, you Sopwith, and all you very talented and determined creators of some of the most beautiful sim add-ons I have ever seen, and to the staff of Sim-Outhouse for the best forum anywhere.:monkies:

So lovely.

What a lovely plane. What beautiful skins. What's to whinge about? Thank you both for all your hard work to make this hobby of ours so diverse and interesting. Long may you continue.

Cheers,

PomBee.:friday::applause::applause::applause:

I´d like to say a big "Thank You" to you, Tango and Sopwith, for the time and effort you spent in making these beautiful aircraft, and giving them to us for free!

Why some people have to complain and insult is something I don´t understand. But I think we should not pay too much attention to those! There are many, many more who appreciate what you do!

Thanks again for the great work!

Wolfgang

SC makes a good point that is often overlooked. If you have a quibble about something particular, use the PM system first.

If it's something up for discussion, that's different, it can be something that's best aired in a discussion forum (like this), but please post as a topic for discussion, not "this is not right, can you correct" ...

Show some consideration people

I don't see how ANYONE could criticize this... that makes me angry...

But I don't understand what this is... do we dump all the B-25 files that are in the computer now and get these brand new Mitchells? Or are these all updates for the old Mitchells?? I'm sorry, I'm slow this morning.

THIS IS WORK THAT IS BEYOND GENEROUS!! How could anyone possibly quibble at all?? If you can build airplanes and tweak models, then if you have a problem, then fix it yourself! That's what I say! These gentlemen put time, sweat, blood, and possible time for sex into these airplanes... and we come back with... this rivet's an inch off??

I'm sorry... I'm off my soapbox now! :a1451::focus::amen:

Oh, and Hellcat... :hititbanana: that's a hottie right there!

Dauntless,

Yes. These are REPLACEMENTS for the older Mitchells.

I also agree that civility and appreciation go a long way. My PM box and ear are always open if you guys have any problems.
