Patch 1.25 and enemy aces question (also quick claim question)

I have not seen an enemy named Ace since patch 1.25, I am not sure if that is a strange coincidence or if the rarity of running into enemy aces was altered.

I fly 94th aero sqaudron August or Sepetmber 1918 start. I use to run into them quite regularly but I have not seen one since 1.25 patch (again could be coincidence).

Also what does the number stand for at the end of a claim for (as seen below Pending:72) is that the percentage chance it will be approved?

MK2,

About the aces I've run into a bunch since 1.25, shot down Oswald Boulke <sp> the other day. I think maybe you've run into a dry spell. As for the number at the end of the claim, I'd bet that it's an indicator of how many of the triggers or qualifiers the software is looking for in validating the claim, ie the higher the number the better the chance of confirmation.

Those numbers have confounded me since I loaded the game. They don't seem to be a percentage of possible claim acceptance as I have had some that say 32 and were accepted and some that say 80 and were not accepted. There seems to be no pattern. I thought maybe it was a reference to the quality of the claim, but again, got high numbers with ten word claims and low ones with paragraphs of info and everything in between. I always love a good puzzle but this one has been driving me :Banane01::Banane33::bananajump::Banane09:!

Great pleased to hear aces labels are still working - cos they should be no change there!

As to question 2 - sorry mums the word....

My guess is you get a base-score from between 1 to 100, depending on what you say in your report, then the game rolls a 100-die to see if you make up the rest to at least a 100 final score.

So you could get a base score of 20, for a poor claim-report, but roll 80 on the die = claim confirmed.

Or get a base score of 80 for a good claim-report, but roll 19 on the die = claim rejected.

If that's the case I think it's a bally good method. Not perfect, because it can't take account of shooting a kill down onto your own aerodrome (for instance), but we're dealing with algorithm-derived abstracts here. Fill in the gaps with imagination. :)
