'Patrick Swayze - 1952-2009'

He was a geat man......

Road House...My favorite movie of all time , that included Jeff Healey, also died at a young age too...

Yep, may they both RIP... I had the pleasure of seeing the Jeff Healey Band live back in the '80's, and he really brought the house down! Pretty darn good guitar player for a blind kid!

He fought one heck of a fight, and kept fighting right up to the end. He was a one of my favorite male actors. Even though none of his movie rolls garnered any huge rewards, they are imprinted in the American psyche.

"Dirty Dancing", which came out in 1987, is my all time favorite movie....that movie had every young guy in the country wishing they were Patrick Swayze and every young gal wishing they were Jennifer Gray....saw it 6 times the week it hit the little movie theater in Ada, Ohio.

"Road House"...how cool was that movie. Patrick and Sam kicking butt in bars while Jeff tore them up with his wailing guitar!

"Next of Kin"..this movie made being an Appalachian hillbilly cool!

"Ghost": That scene with Patrick and Demi sitting on that little stool forming that clay pot together...one of the sexiest clips ever! And neither one of them was nekkid.

Rest in Peace Patrick. Your fight is over, now take your rest.
