Pax River video, circa 1971

This video dates back to 1971, two years prior to my being stationed there, but really brings back memories. I kept looking for familiar BUNOs on the aircraft, and finally recognized two Phantoms near the end of the video that I had worked on; one that I flew backseat in, once: F-4J 153071, in 1974. NC

I was watching this video again this morning, and noticed something near the end. I can see Buno 153071 in the hangar, and parked next to it is 153072. I recall that aircraft being at Pax when I was there, but cannot find any pictures of it (with NATC markings) anywhere, period. Strange. But there it is in this video.

I know it eventually became a Blue Angel Phantom, and after a collision midair, I believe it ended up at the aviation museum at Speyer, Germany.

Will have to put this in my Queue to watch at a later date. Wish I would have made it to PAX River in my Navy days, but never happened. Great link Chief ! Mike :wavey:
