Peep Jousting

Mick

SOH-CM-2025
It's that time of year again - time for peep jousting!

All you need is some marshmallow peeps (those little yellow or pink candy chickies), some round toothpicks and a microwave oven.

Take two peeps and stick a toothpick into each of them just far enough to hold it in place, so it sticks out from the front of the peep like a lance.

Place the two peeps in the microwave oven, on a microwave-safe plate Set them so that they face each other with the tips of their lances about half an inch from the opposing peep.

Turn on the microwave oven and watch through the window in the door as the peeps expand in the heat. The winner of the joust is the one whose lance first impales the other peep.

Happy Easter!

Oh jeeze! Now I have to try this one tomorrow! First time I hear of "Peep Jousting"? Is this an Easter tradition of some sort?

Although, I don't know if my hubby will let me take 2 of his Peeps to try this?? Hmmmm!

You just know I'm gonna do this!!! Great stuff

OK....My two Peeps just fell over....LOL

Thats it for sacfricing my Peeps....

Yeah, I guess so. You might not want to...

Well, it depends on how far the joust has progressed. At best you get a melted glob of melted marshmallow, which is edible if not especially palatable. At worst you have gooey black carbonized sludge that you wouldn't even want to touch, much less eat.
