Period airfields?

Given that many of the existing and upcoming 3rd-party aircraft are WW2-era, are there any suitable period airfields to fly them out of?
Three grass runways, green hangars and buildings, deck-chairs and bell...concrete runways and blockhouse control tower for the later years...

Haven't found anything at flightsim.to, and in the UK most airfields have been either modernised or closed and built over, but there are a few that survive in outline and could be the basis for a nice development...wishful thinking perhaps but :)

A few that I have installed.. of varying quality and accuracy.
