Phantom for FSX?

Hello,

I've been looking for an FSX version of the F-4 Phantom (U.S. squadrons, too) but have only seen the Cloud 9 one.

I thought A2A Simulaitons was working on one but haven't seen any updates.

The Virtavia one is for FS9 only, I believe.

Any :iidea:

Hello Darrin,

No no, the F-4 Phantom Alphasim-virtavia is now free for FSX
Go find sites free or simulations launches a search on google
In addition there are many paintings

Yeah A2A is doing one there was also a thread here a while back where someone had a model not quite finished and offered it up and was picked up by a company to finish it off

one day we will get one .. One day

Thanks

Okay, thanks guys! Let me stroll over and take another look at Virtavia then. I must have missed the FSX one.

I just checked the Alpha-Viritravia freeware site and the only Virtavia F-4 entry is for FS9. It is at the very bottom of the list and is:

Virtavia_F-4_Phantom_II_FS9.msi.

Best, Paul

The Virtavia FS9 Phantoms have been updated for FSX and are available on Simviation's website.

Just search Phantom under an FSX category.

Here's what they look like. Pack 3 seems like the most updated and best to have a look at and what I have downloaded in the past.

Yes, these are all portovers from FS9. I thought the original question was for a FSX native F-4. These are not. They do work OK in FSX; I fly a couple of them myself.

Best, Paul

Will the Cloud 9 Phantom port over to FSX? Has anyone done so with success? I bought it for FS9. If I can find my original purchase information, and if this model will work in FSX, I may try it...

I think it was a case of the main aircraft porting over just fine, but the gauges were a different story and it seems like there were areas blacked out as well. I don't remember that anyone actually got all those problems worked out. . . .but I'm rarely right, so who knows, lol.

Thanks Falcon. I do have the Alphasim model installed, but like the realism of the C9 model better. NC
