After years of working on missions and tweaking planes for this I've finally given up that anyone will ever get to fly them.I'm just going to put them away and go for a cruise and spend more time with my Family.

It sounds like the waves are calling you. my friend. May you have godspeed and a safe voyage on your journey. It's spring now, you should be out with your family.

But wait...out in Hawaii, is there really "spring"?

We get cold weather here also,it was 58 a couple of weeks ago:costumes:.Actually I was in NJ late January until the beginning of March.

Heck...that's a bummer.
Some things I guess just weren't meant to be.
Best to you and your family.

I am just a little bothered by your statement ". . . I've finally given up that anyone will ever get to fly them." I don't want to see anybody's work go to waste. Especially if they are flyable missions. Is it possible to upload some of your work as an individual "missions" package. I am a big fan of your work and don't mind a few imperfections. Then, maybe later, somebody else can finish off your missions and put them into a campaign. :guinness:

Talon,

fair winds and following seas. I understand you perfectly well. At some point one simply can' t carry on even if this sim really is a charmer.
Currently I am myself close to be burned out but at least I will finish the German airfields before taking a long break.

I always appreciated your work very much. And, please, dump all your work into our laps that we can use, tweak or dump it.

All the best to you

Achim

I can't upload the missions because the planes and ships I'm using haven't been released.Plus what good are they without all the PHP2 scenery? The missions are not just on BB Row but also airfields and facilities. These haven't been released either.

In the stock Pearl the torpedoes explode on contact with the water in PHP2 they will hit the ships.

Well, I guess since we've waited patiently(?) thusfar, waiting a little longer (or even more than a little) ... to have a Pearl Harbor add-on that's head and shoulders above the other aftermarket versions out there would be well worth it.

I'd only hope that whichever part of the team that's "dropped the ball" so to speak, picks it back up and helps get the play back in motion. From what I've seen, it would be just a damned shame to throw the whole thing in the corner and say, "screw it!" (IMHO)

Thanks to everyone involved for whatever they've done to this point .... hope this may be of some help getting it to move ahead.:faint:

Bill,

Rest assured that it is still being worked on, and no one has "dropped the ball."

That's good to know and that's why I put "dropped the ball" in quotes ... because, I've found that very often, when writing an e-mail ... things don't come across quite the way you really mean them ... there's that lack of verbal communication with all the nuances. I might have thought of a better term of art having time to reflect.

Certainly no slight intended. I only wish I had a fraction of the talent exhibited by many of you.

Still, I thrilled that things are not dead in the water ... :friday:
