That "castle" is a church.HeHe.

Cheers Chris

It's listed in the Scenery Library as "York Minster". I was just using it as I was needing something "impressive" for the Merc Air/Flight 19 world HQ, Rochford air terminal and beer joint. Hope they don't miss it up there in York, since it's near Southend now.

There was a scenery done at this location back in the CFS 1 days for the members here. There was a default Rochford in CFS and it was just built upon by one of the scenery gurus at the time (Ralf Triebel). I still have it and used it up through FS9, but the original doesn't work well in FSX. So I installed ADEX and decided to redo/upgrade it as a first project. The original had a revised Alamo from Texas as the HQ/terminal/beer joint, but that wasn't an option in the ADEX library.

The aircraft is the Tom Eads FSX version of homebuilt 1910 Kruse Curtiss available at FlightSim. Great aircraft for checking out scenery. Just don't be in any hurry to get anywhere on a long trip.
