Piglet Aircraft not showing in the Sim?

Yet another anomaly I've stumbled across since reinstalling Win10 and P3D_V4. I have the following aircraft, OV-10 Bronco, OV-1 Mohawk, A1 Skyraider, none of these display in the Sim anymore. They look fine in the selection window but once they are loaded I can see the full shadow, prop blur, sometimes the VC but the fuselage and wings, gears, etc are gone.

Anyone else or is this another me, myself and I problem that only I have?:dizzy:

I'll check tonight. I have the Mohawk, the Skyraider, the OH-6, and the Turbo Porter. The latter works like a charm.

Cheers,
Mark

Thanks Mark, again this is something that has changed since this last installation of Win10. A week or so ago and for all the time prior to this in V4 those airplanes were some of my go-to airplanes. . .now suddenly they don't load?

Hello,
the SkyRaider also.
I attach the files if it helps, just this one to test.

"ncooper", your "H" model looked the same as my "J" model. No canopy, pilot or rudder trim tab.

I hope these problems (aircraft not showing and TrackIR not working) aren't due to that stupid, unnecessary, not wanted, "Creator Update". If they are then I'm stuck with it because the only way to get rid of it is to revert back to the earlier build which requires that any apps I've installed since must be reinstalled. . .I am not going through that again after just getting everything more or less up to snuff. Frustrating as hell.

Now this is a far guess, but I had the phenomena of missing textures or crooked animations way back to FSX and it was mostly a corrupted shader cache due to the change of graphic settings (internal or external, like PTA). Before I'd dig any further I'd delete the cache files and let P3D rebuild it at the next start. Then see if it did any good.

That was it Mark. Deleted the shaders and restarted the Sim and all his airplanes are fine now. As many times as I've deleted those shaders for one reason or another, I should make that the first thing I try, lol. . .Thanks.

ow do you delete the cashe for p3dv4 please?
im having some issues now,,never had any problems until yesterday, plane looking like falcons, only for me itas acrenado and alebo

I can't help for the typing, my keyboard hates me as well :D

Concerning the shader cache, you just need to delete the files located in the c:\users\your name\appdata\local\lockheed martin\shaders\.
Be careful about the path, it's LOCAL, not ROAMING.
Also be aware that on the next startup, the sim will take quite a while to display the full picture after loading the flight. You'll see a black screen for a few seconds maybe, then everything will come one by one... sky, autogen, ground, aircraft etc... Might take more than 30 seconds for everything to be ready.
