Piglets An2 floats

I was trying to install the AN2 floats version by Piglet and even though I followed the instructions in the readme about what to do if you can't get the fs gauges to show, the DC3 gauges still won't show.Although the cab file for the dc3 is already in the gauges folder I got the cab from the plane panel file ,renamed it DC3Gauges as per the readme and put it in the gauges folder but no luck.The gauges from the Vega show up but not the ones from the DC3.
I even tried opening the cab file (after putting the whole file in as your supposed to do) and putting all the gauges in separatly but still can't get them to show up in the AN2's panel.
Any ideas?

Strangely not renaming it woked,which is really weird because by not renaming it, it of course gave me the message that the file was already there do you want to overwrite?(Or something like that).
