Piglet's Chevy 1533X2....a work of art

I have had Piglet's Chevy 1533 downloaded for a while, but just got around to installing it today. Took it for a drive across the Nevada desert. That truck is superbly superbly modeled and Piglet put tons of details into the skin. Bolt heads on the rear differential cover plate, bolt heads and drain plug on the oil pan, rust on the exhaust tubing. Heck, he even went so far as to make the leaf springs look like individual leafs. I think I spent 10 minutes with the truck slewed up into the air, looking at it from all angles. Amazing workmanship from bumper to bumper.

And it ain't half bad to drive either. Best handling auto I have driven in FS2004. It does get a bit crazy when you hit the bigger bumps at speed and climbing the bigger hills can be problematic, but all in all a joy to tool around in.

FS2004 New And Improved FDEs For Tim Conrad's Chev 1533x2. Cfg and .air files only. It takes to rough terrain with more stability, has 'umph' to climb hills, and now stronger brakes. Reduced the load to 1,000 lbs (3K lbs=tip over). Now everything is 'honky-dory'. Mods by Chuck Backus.

It's my favorite ground vehicle in FS and the one I use to explore new scenery with. One of my other interests is Chevy/GMC trucks from the 30s, 40s and 50s so it fits right in here.

BTW, going by the front end cap, I think it's either a 1941 or a 1942 model.
