FS2004 Mil MI-24A Hind A. First production version of the famous Soviet helicopter gunship. This version is readily indentified by the boxy greenhouse canopy. This canopy and crew arrangement was not totally successful, due to blind spots, internal reflections, and a weak gun armament. This paved the way to the well known MI-24D/V versions with the separate gunship cockpits in a redesigned nose, and more powerful armament. This model has a VC and three paint schemes. Must have my MI-24V Hind E (MI-24V.ZIP) installed to get the gauges. By Tim Conrad.
There have been numerous repaints for the MiL-24V variant, especially SOH Member Steve B's superb skins.
Wondering if there are any repaints out there for the "A" variant?
And I know the later V version with the tandem cockpits and mods saw alot more sevice, but still curious if more liveries exist for the "A" box cockpit version ...
