Pilotable US Army Jeep for CFS2???

Worthless

SOH-CM-2025
I've got one and it works, but I don't have any memory of where it came from. I can't find the original zip file in any of my storage and all my efforts to search here at SOH and elsewhere have failed, utterly. I've got the damn thing in one of my installs but I need the complete download file.

Does anyone know what I'm refering to, and if so, where can I get a new copy of the zip.

Heres what the README says.......forget about the Web address, it's dead......

JEEP with Artillery
by Jerry Arzdorf
Well, this should be my last vehicle for a while. I'd better get back
to flying machines.
Someone wanted a jeep and somebody else wanted an artillery piece so I
blasted (so to speak) both of them at the same time. The flaps will lower
the windshield (WOW) and the spoiler key will give ya the gun. Of course,
the lights give you the lights. What will I think of next?? If you
drive too fast you can spin out so don't get excited if you see the
scenery going by the wrong way.

Thanks!

Very nice. I'll try them out, but neither is the one I'm really looking for. The one I'm looking for has a driver and two riders. I'm missing the gun. It must have been in a Objects and Scenedb pack that came with the download, but since I can't find the original zip file I don't know what the extras are.

The original file is available at Flightsim.com

File name is "jeep2.zip"

Just do a search for the filename or the creators name "Jerry Arzdorf"

Bammo!

You found it! Great Boatz!.....and I would never have found it with a file name like "closecom". Just what I wanted.

Driveable vehicles:-

The Senior Sim's Older brother, CFS1, also has some other vehicles done over at the AlliedSupply Depot. http://www.alliedsupplydepot.com/page9.html
Scroll down the page almost to the bottom, and click on CFS Vehicles.zip

Took the Wirbelwind for a spin, it levitates about half a metre off the ground, but was fun for something a bit different.
Some of the models are a little chunky - but until something replaces them are a good place to start from.

Edmundo Abad has also relesed a lot of vehicles as scenery APIs over at FlightSim.Com

CFS3 also has some interesting vehicles (thanks for the link HouseHobbit) :- http://freewarecfs3.webs.com/vehicles.htm
