Plane crash in Superstition Mountains

Not sure of any details yet, but witnesses saw plane hit about 300 ft below the peaks. Big fires burning, but it's in a very rugged wilderness area.

The aircraft was a Rockwell AC69 that took off from Falcon Field (KFFZ) in Mesa.

Latest reports say 6 people on board. Tragically, 3 children were on board, ages 5-9.

Just saw video posted on a link at Matt Drudge's website - b&w video shows set of nav lights approaching from left side of screen, going straight & level and apparently at same rate of speed throughout, until they disappear momentarily into the top of a dark mass in the center and right of the screen - followed by intense fireball. FAA may call this one CFIT.
