This is the scheme that TD248 was well known for on the airshow circuit in Britain. From its first post-restoration flight in 1992 until 2005, the scheme this Spitfire wore represented a post war racing scheme as painted on a 41 Squadron Spitfire F.21 as used in races at Blackpool. Spitfire Mk.XIV RN201 still retains similar colours.
