What Austin had done was part out segments of X-Plane for developers to work on. What actually happened was some incompatibility bumps among a few other issues, but the sim is shaping up beautifully. I was really happy to see Carenado actually making planes from the ground up to fit the later X-Plane 9.5 to the newly arriving 10.0
