I would like to buy a new PC and a new graphics card, I would like to know is there a PC I can buy that will run FSX fairly smooth? I mean could I buy one at Wal-Mart?

There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

No..The motherboard matters completely.....
It needs to ba fast and handle an OC for FSX
We all know FSX wants at least 3.2 or better....
And you need good power too...
I intentionally wasn't considering any OC'able parts since Casey (no offense) doesn't appear to have the technical knowledge for any overclocking (yet).
I guess he just wants rough specs, buy a PC, start it up, install FSX and go flying.
- Edit: Casey, don't buy the PC at Wal-Mart. Rather find the next best computer shop and buy it there. It might be a little more expensive, but you'll get way better advice and parts!
