• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I have not been able to contact him..But all I have is whats avaible to everyone else ..

I have him as a friend on FaceBook and dropped him a message yesterday..i have not heard back.if I do I will post that info here !
 
As far as I can tell he has no internet anymore, so I'll be surprised if you get an answer Mason. I've sent him a PM via my forum, where his files are linked to (although still presently broken), in the hope that he could pick it up from a friends machine, but I don't think it's been read.

I really don't know his circumstances except that he has been cut off but if he has received the donations then you would think he would somehow find his way to the local library or internet cafe and say something?

I don't have any of your skins - just bad luck I don't own any of the base models :( but what I do have is a heap of FS aircraft which look soooo much better with a BananaBob prop! Small donation made, and thank you very much for your contribution to my FS world.

That is what I was thinking, that is why I am worried whether or not he is physically ok ya know what I mean ?
 
Bob sometimes needs time to himself and this can take a couple of months, but for a few weeks I've been worried about whether to leave the donate button operating when there is no contact with Bob at all. I don't want to remove this if it could potentially lead to a problem for him, but at the same time I'm uncomfortable with the fact that people are paying money to somebody who is presently AWOL.
 
Just checked the PayPal email address, as it's a hotmail account and not ISP based, I'll send him an email there and hope he picks it up and replies.
 
According to this site, there is only one Robert Rivera in Shelby, Ohio. So maybe someone could give him a call.

NickC is correct...bob can and will take a break for a month or two...

He needs alone time on ocassion..he has had a rough time , and has to refuel and overcome..For those that understand what I'm saying..Good..


Bob will return one day..

I say leave it open...(paypal deal) If he is getting it he needs it badly..If not its for his cause, and to me well worth tossing five or ten away on a prayer its helping him...

I know his circumstances but wheather or not you can retrieve the money is another matter without a secure PC connection somthing which I believe you cannot do from a library or internet cafe , all I was saying is would he be able to access our donations from a comp thats not his own or one that has no record of him being online?

And stop being soft Batman, he's an ex US Marine were all worried about him but he's a man, and a tough one too, yeah he's having hard times but he's not a lost little girl, don't worry he'll be back mate!

I sorta figured Harley I just wanted to clarify, ya know written word can be so easily misinterpreted
