Well, we weren't overrun with aircraft and no place to park, but those who were in attendance had a great time and are looking forward to the next Fly-In.

Bruce, aka;btburgy, did an excellent job of bringing this all together and special recognition goes to Bill Womack for bringing the Plum Island Airport to life in FSX. . .outstanding job Bill.

Those who considered attending but couldn't for one reason or another missed a fun time and I hope many more will consider being part of the next event, whatever that happens to be. If you don't fly in MP, you should and if you don't own a mic or headset/mic combination, you should reconsider as that's the best way to fly in MP.

I know, after talking to Bill during the flight, his concentration is now on the Emma_X project which is great news for everyone and no doubt there will be a grand event when that airport is re-opened.

I have posted a few screens from the flight today and there are going to be more posted at the Emma Forum later. Rediscover the Emma Forum, by the way, as there's some good info there on what's happening and some good folks over there that enjoy the Multiplayer/TS platform for flying.

Of course, we had to have the fly-in on Nov. 1... I discovered recently that there's a discontinuity with the winter textures. The high-res airport grounds turn to snow on Nov. 1, a month before the rest of the area. I'll put out a patch with the updated files pronto. It was a great fly-in! I'm sorry I wasn't able to complete it. A pair of CTD's knocked me out of the running. Naturally, I hadn't had any for months before today. Go figure.

Thanks to Brad and the guys for putting this together.

potlope, I agree today was a lot of fun at the Plum Island Flyin. Sorry you had CTDs. Believe me, I know what those problems are like. In fact, I usually have them. It was unusual that I didn't have any today.

Truly, today was a great time. I haven't have had that much fun with multiplayer in a long time!

I look forward to more of the same!

Note: you will see a couple screenshots at the link I provided where it looks like a Cessna is on top of another. Well, the aircraft it is "colliding with" is a static aircraft, and wasn't seen by the other multiplayer:)

Well, as usual I couldn't get the paint dry on my Gold-E-Mite

I've been playing with Piglet little wonder, she's a sweet airplane.

One thing Piglet: What texture controls the whip antenna that is yellow in these screens on the fuselage top? I want to paint it True Blue.

Piglet's kit made this easy, I spent most of my time culling NI and coming up with the the other texture ideas. Will polish it in the AM and box it up.

By the way, Piglet, your OV-10 flies great! I use a separate crt monitor for instrument views, and had just the GPS on screen. Then I use my 6' by 8' screen for all other views.

Hey Cazzie, could you change the tail stripes of the pre-war trainer to be the more traditional horzontal 13 red and white stripes?
