Poland Terrain

SOH-CM-2023
Poland terrain addon for CFS3.
This is a small stripped down theater covering most of Poland in its pre-WWII state. There are no custom aircraft , buildings or vehicles included . Does not include a working campaign . Airfield placement and terrain types have only been only loosely researched and are bound to be inaccurate in places. I have no intention to further develop this addon. Feel free to edit, update and upload changes as desired.

This is mostly just a test of the tools and process of theater building. Works well enough for QC and mission building.

Awesome work ! Maybe in the future more work will be done to finish it. One can only hope... Thanks for the shinny new toy ! Regards, Scott

Great job!

Now all we need are some Polish aircraft. Paradoxically, the Polish Air Force never used the PZL P.24, which was destined for export... To Greece among other places, which is why we have in in MAW. I've done Polish skins, but they are only stand-ins.

Unless somebody HAS done a P.7 or P.11 while I wasn't looking...

Very cool Steve! Is this the 2 gun, or the 4 gun version?

What seems to be wrong with the FS9 FM?

it has 4 guns but the 2 wing guns would be easy to remove

so far I notice it take a steep dive at beginning of air starts . Also it seems to leap on the runway when starting engine

Possibly a center of gravity issue? The jumping during start is interesting. I actually wouldn't mind that behavior to a subtle extent for inertia starters.

Ask Rene. He might just take it on. Not saying he could , but he might give it a go. He is one of the best when it comes to flight modelling IMO. Regards, Scott

that is something to look at. I have to wonder how well this aircraft flew in FS9?

Comparing the P.24 and P.11, they seem to be largely similar, if not identical in many key characteristics. I would expect that changes to weight, center of gravity, and engine power would put you very close.
