• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

possible new way for online play

You can add any game you like that uses online play. I and some others are using it for EAW 1.28 If you like go to the SimHQ forum for EAW.

The nice thing is anyone can open a 'room' and when two or more players are in the room you can launch the game - no IP needed. It also has a built in voice communication like team speak. However there is a tiny delay that is a bit annoying.

hmm,,,dont know how i missed that.. but you are right,

However, when i go to "host" a game, it tells me I dont have any of the games installed (and there is the BUY NOW button)

Anyone know what featurers are available in the free version vrs the pay version?
 
You have to use the 'browse' button to point to where you have the game installed. As I said to see details of how to do this go over to the SimHQ forum for EAW
 
We wouldn't be able to run OFF in Vista if we couldn't run CFS3 in Vista.
 
I think Lipra means has anyone tried multiplayer CFS3 on Vista using gameranger? Does it solve the problem that currently exists of CFS3+Vista means that multiplayer won't work?
 
moot point anyway Lipra......just had a fiddle with it and it's CFS1 that it currently supports not CFS3
