I just uploaded a new version of the B-25...Russian export version designated as the D-30. The aircraft is a pet project inspired by Sopwith Chameleon's skin of the aircraft flown by Flight leader 1st.Lt.A.Mogilnitskiy. Hungary, Spring of 1945....a true defender of the Rodina ( Motherland pronounced ROHdenah). :friday:

The name of the aircraft is "For the Blood of Vitebsk!", a reference to the hometown of the pilot. This B-25D-30 'Red 85' became his personal machine in 337th APDD (in December 1943 number was changed to 35th GvAPDD but during this month it was redesignated again as 251st GvBAP). :kilroy:

She differs from the normal C/D in that she does have a tail gun, the ventral turret was never installed, she has two fixed guns forward and two waist guns. She also sports individual exhaust stacks. :typing:

The aircraft includes Pen32Win's droptank for the Bombs Medium Long Range payload and my B25_AI_Bombs for that payload.

Expect her in the download que by evening. :engel016:

Yes...

Thanks M8

BTW: Is that an historical inscription on the side? "For the Blood of Vitebsk"

...Vitebsk in Belarus, Russia (the pilot's home) near the Latvian border was occupied by Nazi troops from 1941-1944. During that time up to 150,000 civilian residents were killed by the occupiers. :kilroy:

Not available...

...yet in the download que. Nothing uploaded after 04:41 yesterday is there yet, and I uploaded around 11:00 I think. Perhaps today....:kilroy:
